“I have always been passionate about healthcare, and want to work in a fast-paced environment that brings new challenges every day. When I researched different degrees I realised that paramedicine would be the perfect fit for me,” says BSSC Alumna and La Trobe University Bendigo student, Emily Cossar.
“I wanted to study at La Trobe’s Bendigo campus because it would allow me to stay local and keep connected with my family and community in Bendigo. The facilities are exceptional, and there’s plenty of space on campus to move about and utilise my practical skills.
“I would like to work as a paramedic in Victoria, and overseas as well. Paramedicine is useful everywhere, so there’s no limits as to where it can take me.”
