BSSC Alumna and former Student of the Year, Ali Young, has released ‘Work Mama Life’ (Wiley 2022), which she describes as being “for all those mamas trying to achieve a better balance”.

Through a combination of evidence-based research, first-hand mothering experience, and easy-to-follow exercises, the book shows mothers everywhere how to rediscover their joy, self and health in the face of the intense challenges working motherhood brings.

Ali graduated BSSC in 1997 and went on to study Chiropractic at RMIT University. She practiced in Western Australia for 8 years, before setting up her benchmark practice, Innate Chiropractic in Gladstone Queensland.

Ali was Gladstone’s 2021 Business Woman of the Year, is a sort after presenter and podcaster, and loves teaching Chiropractors about working with kids, as well as learning from the emerging leaders in her profession. But she also loves to open up lines of conversations about the true realities of motherhood, and how they can shape us, how we can shape them, and how the expectation dense society we are currently living in is somewhat taking over elements of our intuitive mothering journey.

‘Work Mama Life’ is available locally through Dymocks, or at Booktopia and Amazon.
