Students are able to participate in a full range of sporting endeavours. The college has an outstanding reputation for the sporting performances of its students in both team and individual sports.
What is the BSSC Sports Program about?
Sport is an integral part of the BSSC extra-curricular program due to the great support from college staff, strong links with community sporting organisations, and most importantly, the ability to effectively juggle their academic work load with representing the college in various college events. At BSSC we want to give students every opportunity to be able to succeed both in and out of the classroom, which is why sport at BSSC is a great opportunity to do that.
What is available?
Sport at BSSC primarily follows the School Sport Victoria (SSV) calendar with events for Sandhurst Division (Bendigo District), Loddon Mallee Region and State finals competitions.
BSSC participates in events outside the SSV calendar as well such as the Victorian Cycling Championships, Basketball National School Championships, Netball Victoria School Championships, Mountain Bike Orienteering Schools Championships, Lacrosse Victoria Schools Competition, and Clay Target Shooting North East Zone Championships.
BSSC offer a range of sports that students can participate in…
