It was all smiles in the Language Centre today as staff and students gathered for a wonderful celebration of Chinese culture.
This year, people around the world rang in the Chinese New Year on the 10th of February.
As part of BSSC’s festivities, students were able to try their hand at writing Chinese symbols, participate in a fun chopstick game and were treated to delicious dumplings and spring rolls.
“This is the Year of the Dragon,” explained Chinese Language Program Coordinator, Juncai Lin. “The dragon signifies power, prosperity and good fortune.”
