The Arts floor was brimming with talent tonight, as the BSSC community gathered together to celebrate the work and achievements of our Year 11 Visual Arts, Fashion and Media students.
Teaching and Learning Coordinator Marcus Patching officially welcomed guests and commended students on their determination and creativity.
Aside from the outstanding artwork covering the walls of E block, and the short films shown in the Media room, guests were treated to a fashion parade – something that hasn’t been done at Bendigo Senior Secondary College for many years.
Fashion student, Lilly Correll, introduced the event.
“We were tasked with collaboration – the outfits on show have a dark/horror theme.”
Well done to the following students who received Certificates of Recognition tonight: Katya Dorer, Tess Sillery, Sophie Mennie, Blake Walker, Charlie Gentry, Bryanna Colliver, Taylah Bell, Emma Cornell, Tom Stanley, Mia Milsom, Ehsan Khodadadi, Fraser Cook and Jasmine Brawley.
The Media Rising Star Awards went to Tilda Picken & Dallas Baker.
