Helen Attrill’s Studio Arts combined Drawing and Ceramics Unit 1 class visited the Sacred Heart Cathedral this morning to develop drawing trials and gain inspiration for drawn and sculptural artworks focusing on the theme of architecture. The students found the experience almost mediational. “I was in the zone” said Ollie. Every student explored a range of techniques such as blind contour, tone, white pastel on black paper and site drawing. The students have appreciated the range of architectural styles in Bendigo and will explore the Golden Dragon Museum on Wednesday.
