Year 12 VET Allied Health student, December Paw, is considering a career in Pharmacy or Aged Care, so she jumped at the opportunity to undertake Structured Workplace Learning at UFS Pharmacies in Maiden Gully.
December was able to apply many of the skills she’s learned in her VET Allied Health studies to the workplace.
“I enjoyed my placement at UFS Pharmacies,” she said. I’m thinking about working in Pharmacy when I finish school, so it was great to experience that environment.”
December enjoyed the busy environment where she stocked shelves, helped with the sale of products, used associated medical terminology and observed the dispensary process.
