BSSC VET Agricultural students Ollie McCooke, Melea Pitson and Jack Ryan attended the Australian Sheep and Wool Show on Friday 14th July.
The students showed sheep with program partners from the Polwarth Association as part of their training and assessment program for Certificate II Agriculture.
Students had an exciting result, with a fleece from the Coolock Trade Training Centre winning the 2023 Champion Ag Colleges and Schools Exhibit AND the Reserve Champion Polwarth Exhibit.
Students also attended interesting talks and displays in the Careers and Technology Hub Marquee and had the opportunity to view the sheep dog trials, visit the variety of stalls on-site, and talk with other students and farmers about all things sheep-related.
