The Bendigo Athlete Development Program (ADP) took two teams down to the State Basketball Centre (Wantirna South) for the finals of the Basketball Victoria 3X Cup.

The girls team started the day with a close tough game against Flinders in which the girls went down by 1 in overtime. The girls finished their pools games in second place which meant the cross over quarter final was played against Western Heights College. The quarter final was a fast-paced game with good quality basketball displayed. It came right down to the wire with the girls just falling short. The team did a great job and played well throughout the day.

Jayla Burkinshaw, Ameila Grist, Lucy Paton and Eryn McManus fielded the girls team.

The boys team were added into the finals as a wildcard entry. The team started slow with two early losses and managed to finish third in their round games. From their the boys picked up their pace and turned it all around. After winning the Qualifying Final the team played their hearts out to win tough games against Haileybury and Western Heights to come away as 3X Champions!
