Year 11 Visual Communication students gained great insight into life beyond BSSC today with a visit from artist, designer and teacher, Narelle Desmond.

Narelle talked about her own journey through art school, the forming of her art collaboration called DAMP, and her interest in typography that led her to study Graphic Design at RMIT.

After leading students through a case study highlighting the many design aspects of the new Children’s Hospital in Melbourne, Narelle gave a run-down of the many pathways to university, what their folios should include, the questions lecturers will ask, and the things that will impress them most in a prospective student.

BSSC thanks Narelle for sharing her knowledge and abundance of enthusiasm with students.
