Visual Communication Design students gained valuable insight into university pathways on Monday with a visit from former BSSC student Jill Stewart-Rosier.
Jill graduated in 2013 and is currently in her third year of a Bachelor Graphic Design at La Trobe University Bendigo (now known as Bachelor of Creative Arts). While students viewed her design folios, Jill shared her experiences of university life – from the application and entry process, to the day-to-day expectations of a design student.
She encouraged students to be proactive and take the initiative when it comes to forging a career in art and design.
Jill’s visit to the college was part of the La Trobe University Schools Partnerships Program.
