As per VCAA requirements, students studying Studio Arts must show and discuss their art with their teacher several times per semester.

In a remote learning climate, this presents a unique challenge… and opportunity.

This morning, Helen Attrill’s Unit 4 Painting & Drawing class showed their art progress and discussed it with their peers via Google meet.

“Two students (Jed Bloomfield and Keoni Macrae) even arrived in character,” Helen said. “It was a wonderful way for everyone to catch up and share their work with each other while also meeting VCAA requirements.

“I also tried out a background screen for the first time—my bushwalking landscape—to share with students the importance of looking after themselves.”

Great work everyone!
