A MESSAGE FROM BSSC PRINCIPAL DALE PEARCE
Dear Parents/Carers and Students
This afternoon the Premier has announced that all of Victoria will go into a 5-day lockdown from midnight tonight.
Schools have been asked to provide continuity of learning during the first three days of next week. For BSSC students this will mean:
-Work will be distributed via Compass.
-Google Meets sessions will be run for each class.
-A limited number of study spaces will be available in the Library from 9.00 am Monday for students who are unable to study at home because parents are essential workers, no other supervision arrangements can be made unless there is a level of vulnerability which makes it necessary for the student to attend the college.
-Students will be able to access their lockers on Monday morning (check in at the Library before doing so)
Our staff are presently working on detailed advice which we will issue later today via Compass, on our website and Facebook page.
Should the lockdown extend beyond next Wednesday we will issue updated advice as soon as possible.
Please check your Compass ‘My News’ feed, our website and Facebook page for the detailed advice later today.
Thank you for your patience and understanding.
Regards,
Dale Pearce
Principal
