One of BSSC’s Senior Personal Development & Work Related Skills class welcomed guest speaker Sue Masters from Haven; Home, Safe to their class this week. Sue spoke about homelessness in Bendigo, and what homeless people go through each day in our city. Sue’s presentation has inspired our students to help those less fortunate in our community.
Please help our students to gather some winter warmth for the homeless. Check your wardrobes for warm winter woollies no longer used. Any spare men’s, women’s, and children’s winter clothing (eg. socks, gloves, beanies and scarves) can be donated to those in need via donation boxes in the library and the staff centre.
Get on board, and help our VCAL students support Bendigo’s homeless.
