The Ulumbarra Café plaza will come alive on Thursday 1 September for VCAL Market Day.  A festival vibe is guaranteed, with students planning everything from live music and rap dance displays, to food for every taste, fun activities, and stalls with a range of handcrafted and second-hand goods.

This year’s activities will include magical tricks, tool raffle, guess the baby pictures of staff, lucky number, jaffa smash, probability game, ‘beer pong’, guess the number of lollies in the jar, a big raffle, and a blood donor information stall.

Food will tempt every taste with soup, multicultural foods, sausages, nachos, hot dogs, pancakes, muffins, lolly bags, slices, rumballs, cup cakes, cookies, garlic & herb bread certain to delight.  Drinks on sale will include:  coffee, hot chocolates, juices, cans of soft-drink and milkshakes.

Other stalls will include hand-made blankets, recipe books, beanies, organic lipbalm, gift cards, screen printed t-shirts, badges, plants, mosaic platters for garden decorations, plants, badges, op-shop, bird nesting boxes… and more.

There really will be something for everyone and proceeds will go to a range of local charities.
