James King Hall was a hive of activity on Wednesday as BSSC welcomed more than 600 Year 10 students from Crusoe, Bendigo South East and Weeroona Colleges.
The transition expo is the first major event in the Year 10 to 11 transition process. BSSC Learning Area staff were on hand to answer questions and to introduce the vast array of subjects available at BSSC to students who are starting their course planning for 2017.
Students were introduced to the difference between VCE and VCAL and shown the pathways which can follow each program. Advice from other students about choosing subjects was provided and information stalls provided details about BSSC’s subjects and opportunities.
After having all their questions answered, the Year 10s were shown over the college facilities by enthusiastic guides.
