The BSSC Lions were defeated by Catherine McAuley College in yesterday’s second round of the SSV AFL Premier League competition.
The first quarter was evenly matched, with the Lions trailing by just 5 points at 1/4 time after kicking into the breeze.
Unfortunately BSSC couldn’t make full use of the wind advantage in the second quarter and were outscored 4 goals to nil.
CMC increased the margin to 41 points by 3/4 time.
The Lions played with great passion in the final quarter to narrow the margin to just 22 points at the final siren.
Final scores were CMC 11.4.70 to BSSC 7.6.48
