Four BSSC students recently took part in the 2016 International Competitions and Assessments for Schools which are run by the University of New South Wales. Congratulations to Kelly Phan who received a High Distinction for English, Beth Flavelle who received a Distinction for Maths, Adelaide Annand and Ashley Eadon who received Credits for Maths, and English respectively.
To ensure that ICAS is a 21st century quality assessment the keeps pace with classroom learning, a new ICAS test is developed annually for each subject in each year level by a team of subject experts. Our students stood out among over one million student entries from over 6,300 schools in Australia and New Zealand and over 20 countries including Hong Kong, India, Malaysia, Singapore, South Africa and the USA which also participate in ICAS each year.
