During the school holidays a group of BSSC Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander students attended a weaving day hosted by Weenthunga Health.
A BIG thank you to Arkeria, Miv and Aunty Steph for a fun day of earring weaving, yarning and sharing lunch at PepperGreen Farm.
Weenthunga Health supports young Aboriginal & Torres Strait Islander women From Year 10 through to completing their tertiary studies in health and community services pathways. They have been a long-term partner and supporter of our Indigenous young women at BSSC and have provided mentorship, scholarships, bursaries and loads of love and friendship to our young women and their families.
