Yesterday, EAL VCAL students and Year 11 VCAL students attended a potentially life-changing program, when the team from Fit2Drive visited the college.

The Fit2Drive session, run by Senior Constable Donna Parsons, encouraged students to make good decisions when faced with risky driving situations, both as passengers, and in terms of their future driving safety.

The session was about changing attitudes and behaviours – not their driving skills.

Students also attended workshops run by representatives from universities in Melbourne.

Fit2Drive is designed to help young people by using active learning methods that draw upon their own experiences, to develop a respect and pride for safe road use with the aim to reduce youth road trauma.
