Year 11 VET Allied Health student, Brianna Molloy, recently completed three days of Structured Workplace Learning at High Street X-ray.
Brianna observed client support and medical services and applied many of the skills she gained in her first year of VET Allied Health studies in a medical environment.
“I’ve learnt a lot about radiology and all the different equipment they use,” she said. “I’ve also learnt new medical terminology while on placement.”
Brianna experienced safe practices in patient care, all areas of medical imaging, including CT and MRI scans, x-ray and nuclear medicine.
