Australian Schools Basketball Championships

Congratulations to our boys and girls basketball teams who have just returned from a very successful campaign at the Australian Schools Championships in Canberra.

The girls finished the week in 6th place, but could have quite easily have been in contention for a medal had it not been for two heart-breaking one point losses in the round-robin stage. The boys captured the bronze medal after going through the round-robin stage with only one defeat, and then winning the play-off game.

All players should be extremely proud of the way they conducted themselves on and off the court.

Special thanks to our coaches Sarah Huxtable (girls) and Jonathan Goodman (boys), and to our two team managers Maddy White (girls) and Peter Hunt (boys).
