With exams and the GAT over the past week, we have had a spell from sporting competition, but there are plenty of events coming up in the next weeks and in Term 3.
AFL – Premier League v Essendon/Keilor College
Our boys football team travel to Craigieburn on Wednesday 15 June to take on the top-placed Essendon/Keilor College in the School Sport Victoria AFL Premier League competition. The team still remains in contention for the finals, but must win against Essendon/Keilor and then defeat Hallam Secondary College the following week to have any chance. Best of luck to the team.
Futsal – Bendigo School Titles
Good luck to our girls Futsal team competing in the Bendigo School Titles at the Bendigo Basketball Stadium on Tuesday 14 June. BSSC will be represented by Jemimah Bish, Georgia Coverdale, Sam Green, Cait Green, Mikayla Kerr and Aysha McCoy.
Basketball (boys)
The squad for the boys basketball team has been announced following selection trials conducted over recent weeks. Players selected are Fraser Bell, Sam Brynhildsen, Lachlan Dillon, Simon Dundas, Brandon Etherington, Brock Harvey, Kris McNaughtan, Keelan Payne, Lachlan Ratcliffe, Jak Reade, Mark Swiney, and Ben Wickens. The team plays in the Sandhurst Division competition in the first week of next term (Tuesday 12 July).
