Dja Dja Warrung man and Parks Victoria Ranger, Trent Nelson, donated his time on Monday to conduct a Smoking Ceremony to cleanse our B-block building as a way of increasing its cultural safety. We were fortunate to have several Koorie Education Support Officers from DET, representatives from Weethunga and Kangan TAFE as well as community members present for this important occasion. BSSC has 55 Indigenous students enrolled for 2018.
