The BSSC Lions travelled to Melbourne Sports and Aquatic Centre (MSAC) to compete in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) State Championships in the Senior Girls Division on Thursday 14th May.
The team qualified through to the States by winning the Sandhurst Division and the Loddon Mallee Region.
Three round games were played against Woodmans Hill, Eltham High School and Keysborough Acaia. The Lions started the day off well with strong and consistent serving which lead to a win against Woodmans Hill, 2 sets to 0.
It was a tough match against Eltham with patches of good play from the Lions. Keysborough were a consistent team in the last match with the Lions matching the rallies throughout the game.
Thank you to Liz Keast for coaching the team!
