Wednesday would have marked BSSC’s annual ANZAC Ceremony—a long-standing tradition and important event in the life of the college. It’s a time for students, staff, alumni as well as members of the RSL and the wider community, to come together and acknowledge all those who served in wars, conflicts, and peacekeeping operations and remember the contribution they made and the suffering they endured.

While we can’t gather as a community in the Ulumbarra Theatre this year, we can still share our commitment to the traditions of ANZAC Day and why it means so much to us.

If you’re commemorating ANZAC Day in isolation or have a special family connection to the ANZACS, inbox the college Facebook page (or email holton.john@bssc.edu.au with a photo and a few short words about what ANZAC Day means to you. We’ll post it on the BSSC Facebook page and keep the tradition alive in 2020.
