Scott visits Bendigo before the AFL finals
Geelong midfielder and BSSC Alumni, Scott Selwood, was the king of the kids at Eaglehawk Primary School on Monday.
Scott gave up his time to run the excited Eaglehawk students through some footy skills and drills before heading back to Geelong to start his preparation for the AFL finals.
He missed Saturday’s round 23 win over Hawthorn because of hamstring tightness, but is expected to return to the Cats line-up for the qualifying final clash with Hawthorn.
The 26-year-old will embark on his first finals campaign with the Cats.
Scott played 135 games in eight years with the West Coast Eagles, including six finals games, before crossing to the Cats at the end of 2015.
He didn’t make his debut with the Cats until round 20 because of a bone stress reaction in his ankle.
Scott played rounds 20-22 in the Geelong senior side where he averaged 20 possessions per game.
Meanwhile, his older brother Joel was named in the All-Australian squad of 40 for 2016.
