The Bendigo Senior Secondary College (BSSC) competed in the School Sport Victoria (SSV) Sandhurst Division on Thursday 11th June at the Golden City Netball Courts.
The Senior Boys section had three teams enter with each game being 2x 15 min halves. The competing teams were: BSSC Lions, Castlemaine and SEDA.
The team took on Castlemaine Secondary College in the first game. The first half was tight with neither team able to capitalize on consecutive breaks. Castlemaine were able to take the lead in the second half to come away with the win.
The second match was against SEDA with the Lions leading the whole match. SEDA kept in touch throughout the game with the BSSC boys remaining calm to take the win.
Thank you to Kara Fox for coaching the team along with Marli Drahrm, Molly Jones and Ava Dickson. Thank you to Sophie Tyrrell and Mak Roberts for umpiring on the day.
