The final parents and friends group forum for 2016 is on Thursday 25 August. You are invited to learn about the VTAC process and how to apply for scholarships and special consideration- SEAS (Special Entry Access Scheme).
The Victorian Tertiary Admissions Centre (VTAC) is the centralised admissions centre for most undergraduate university and TAFE courses. Applications for 2017 courses are now open, and will close during the school holidays at 5 pm on Thursday 29 September. Be sure your student puts in their application while they are able to access advice from their advisor and the careers team at the college.
Is your student eligible for a scholarship? Scholarships come in all shapes and sizes; academic achievement, financial hardship, relocation and more. Is there one for your student?
Your student may also be eligible for the Special Entry Access Scheme (SEAS) through VTAC, or individual institutional schemes which take account of both short and long term disadvantage. SEAS and scholarship applications are open from 1 August – 4 October.
Parents – please log on to Compass to register and nominate whether you are able to attend. If there are insufficient numbers, the session will not run. Those who have registered will be contacted if the event is cancelled.
