BSSC offers fantastic opportunities for its young artists—both graduating artists heading into tertiary studies, and Year 12 students about to launch into their final year at the college.

The Margaret Standen Bursary is an opportunity for students to fund the materials they require to explore creatively and make great artworks.

The bursary is open to all students studying Unit 3-4 in Art General (excluding Art Fashion) and the three Studio Arts subjects, and you will be asked to demonstrate your passion for the arts in your application.

This year, Peter Standen has generously doubled the amount of funding, so there is even more reason to apply and further your artistic exploration throughout your Unit 3-4 studies.

The Mason Family Trust  provides former students of Bendigo Senior Secondary College with support in the form of bursaries to pursue a career and further study in the Arts, including Visual Arts, Dance & Drama, Music, Fashion, Photography, Media and Stained Glass or Art Glass.

The Trust makes available $30,000 per annum which is used to support a number of applicants.

The Trust provides funds for students to assist with course materials and requisites.
