Dear Students and Parents/Carers

As you will have heard through the media, the statewide lockdown will end as planned and schools will reopen for face to face teaching and learning tomorrow. Our normal timetabled classes will commence at the start of the day .

Everyone on school sites – staff, students and visitors – is required to wear a mask when indoors and should wear a mask outdoors when unable to maintain 1.5m of social distancing. Last week we had a number of students who needed the college to provide a mask and we cannot do that indefinitely. Please bring and wear your own mask.

All other planned college events such as camps and excursions will run as planned.

Thank you to students for maintaining a focus on your studies over the last few days. In the event that there are further lockdowns of this type or school closures due to confirmed COVID cases we all need to be prepared to move into this mode of teaching and learning again at short notice. I will be working with our staff to ensure that we are ready and we will have advice for students soon. Above all it’s important for students to be confident that they can manage and succeed in remote learning. We’ll be here to help if this happens again.

I look forward to seeing everyone back in classes tomorrow morning.

Regards

Dale Pearce
Principal
