The RAW Arts exhibition is currently showing at Dudley House in View Street, with the work of eight NETschool learners featuring amongst the artworks.
Year 11 student, Maddie Kay, won a Highly Commended for her Digital Media piece ‘I’m in Love with Fictional Characters’. Her digital drawing ‘Speckle’ was also part of the exhibition.
Congratulations to NETschool learners Ebony Adams, Egg Barlow, Emilia Belleggia, Dylan Cotterill, Aya Cusick, Jo Gleeson and Maddy Talbot who all have work on display at Dudley House.
The exhibition runs across the weekend and is open from 11am to 3pm Saturday and Sunday.
The aim of the awards, which began in 1997, is to support young people and provide opportunities for a diverse and vibrant local arts and culture program.
The awards provide a great opportunity for young people to profile their work, receive public and financial recognition and support further studies in their chosen arts field.
