VET Community Services students did their bit to help Central Victorians in need this morning, as they prepared meals for those doing it tough.
Working alongside Caroline from Bendigo Foodshare, the Year 12s worked swiftly as a team to prepare over 50 servings of pasta with tomato sauce and vegetables—a mammoth effort.
Sarah says she enjoyed the cooking process, but most importantly enjoyed the meaning behind the class and being able to give back to her community.
“I like knowing the meals are going to people that really need them.”
The meals will be distributed by the Foodshare team to those who need them most. A lovely way to end the term.
