What are the biggest challenges for you learning from home?
The biggest challenge for me is the change of atmosphere. In a classroom it’s much more formal than working from home.
What do you like about learning from home?
I like the independent learning. You have a majority of control over what you do, and you can work at your own pace.
Have you got a favourite place at home to work?
My favourite place would simply be my study desk. I can sit here for hours working, and time just flies by.
Any funny, unexpected things that have happened as a result of learning from home?
The funniest thing to happen would be a girl in one of my classes just getting up and dancing out of nowhere. It was really great to see!
What do you miss most about physically going to school?
I miss the simplicity of it all. Even taking a walk through the school seems like a privilege I took for granted.
Anything you’d like to say to the rest of the BSSC community during lockdown?
Even though we’re all struggling, we’re in this position together. Keep at it, and eventually things will be back to normal.
