The City of Greater Bendigo is calling for young leaders to attend the 2016 Youth Summit on Wednesday 7 September. This is a great opportunity for young people to discuss the issues that are important to them.

“We encourage all student leaders and interested young people to come along and take part in discussions, hear from some fantastic guest speakers and meet other young people from across the municipality,” Mayor, Rod Fyffe said.
“The Summit enables young people to have their say and raises awareness in the community about what they see as important to their lives.”
Guest speakers this year will be former AFL footballer and founder of mentoring program Outside the Locker Room, Jake Edwards and 3BO radio presenter Erin Ryan, both of whom are great role models for young people thinking about their future.
