The La Trobe Bendigo Holsworth Student Grants support students from Bendigo Senior Secondary College to study at La Trobe University’s Bendigo campus.
These equity grants, valued at up to $5,000 per year for the duration of a course, give students from disadvantaged backgrounds the opportunity to pursue university studies right here in Bendigo.
You’re invited to apply if you
• plan on studying at La Trobe University’s Bendigo campus in 2023, and
• will complete year 12 at Bendigo Senior Secondary College in 2022.
Recipients of the grants will be selected by a selection panel based on their personal circumstances and the degree to which they meet the selection criteria.
To be considered, students should submit an online scholarship application via their VTAC account and ensure any supporting documents are supplied www.vtac.edu.au/access/scholarships/applying.html
If a Statement of Support discussing the impact and timeline of your circumstances is required, this should be supplied to best support your application. Applying for courses via VTAC does not constitute a scholarship application, so students must make sure that they also complete the separate VTAC Scholarship application process.
