Yesterday, students from VCORE groups 160 and 120 (Literacy, Numeracy and Personal Development and Work Related Skills) attended a day excursion to Kooyoora State Park. During the day they completed bush walks, initiative games, cave exploration and prepared a barbecue picnic lunch. Students organised the activities and the planning of the day including completing OH&S documents and reflections to meet outcomes for their VCAL program. Even though it was freezing cold, everyone had a great day and demonstrated skills such as teamwork and leadership.
