Our friends at Hit 91.9 Bendigo were at the college on Friday for a live broadcast to promote Sunday’s Open Day.
Students and staff were interviewed on-air, speaking about the many benefits of a BSSC education.
Principal Linda Lyons gave an overview of the many specialist programs offered by the college, while in the first student interview of the day Mitch Hammer talked about the performing arts program and the success of the recent college production.
Student Councillor Whitney Eadon spoke wonderfully about the opportunities for student voice at the college, before Building and Construction student Bryn Smith talked about the incredible facilities for VET students at the Trade Training Centre.
Year 11 student Emily Mannix explained the UniBridges program and the benefits of studying a language at BSSC.
The broadcast concluded with Simon Wood letting students and families know what they could expect at Sunday’s Open Day and how they can go about the enrolment process.
A HUGE thank you to all our students and staff who performed so well on air, and to Jane and the outside broadcast crew from Hit 91.9 who did such a great job promoting the college to the Bendigo community.
