Friday 27 August (this Friday!) is Wear It Purple Day – a day that’s all about celebrating, and showing support for, our LGBTI community.
Wear It Purple Day was established to show young people across the globe there is hope, there are people who do support and accept them, and that they have the right to be proud of who they are.
In the lead up to Wear It Purple Day we are asking YOU—our students and staff—to show your support by sending in a photo of yourself dressed in purple, along with a sentence about why being inclusive and supporting those in our LGBTI community is important to YOU.
Photos can be sent to events@bssc.edu.au, or to the BSSC Facebook page inbox, via Messenger. Get creative!
Photos will be posted on the BSSC socials on the 27th August.
Let’s join together to celebrate Wear it Purple Day!
