Blast off to a great year with swimming and land game “challenges” at the BSSC Aquatic Challenge on Tuesday afternoon. Even if you are not a water lover, the aquatic centre has shade and places to relax as you enjoy the activities and company of staff and fellow students.

Each year the Aquatic Challenge enables students to dress in house colours and mix with staff and other students in a relaxed, fun-filled environment of water and land-based events. The Aquatic Challenge is part of the week-long Blast Off program and there is something in the program for everyone.

After an Advisor meeting at 12:50, students will move to the pool at 1:00 pm. There will be a free BBQ lunch and for non-swimmers, land-based games such as gladiator and sumo will test physical and strategic skills. Water fun can be had with the Hoobee Tubee waterslide, while for the serious swimmers there is the Golden Goggles competition.

Creativity in costume, daring and diving styles will be seen from entrants to the AA (aerial acrobatics) competition. Don’t miss this great annual event in the college calendar.
