BSSC students had their heads in the clouds last Tuesday with a rare opportunity to get behind the controls of an F/A-18 Super Hornet, Australia’s frontline aerial strike fighter.
Well, sort of…
The RAAF brought its Super Hornet Flight Simulator to the college as part of a Victorian roadshow designed to introduce students to the many career opportunities available in the Royal Australian Air Force. It was also a great opportunity for students who are interested in aviation careers more broadly, including air traffic control, to get a taste of what the RAAF has to offer.
More than 30 students and staff took the chance to take to a virtual reality sky.
