VCAL students and staff have enjoyed a great partnership with Conservation Volunteers Australia this year through the Litter Innovation Project. For those who want to keep the momentum going—or begin it— there is an opportunity to get involved in beneficial community projects over the holidays.

  • Want to enjoy the peace of nature—and help preserve it?
  • Want to improve your wellbeing by being physically active?
  • Want to make a visible difference to our local environment?
  • Want to meet like-minded people?

CVA Bendigo welcomes students as volunteers on rewarding conservation projects during their summer break or Gap Year. Or maybe you want to enhance or broaden your work skills for a career in Conservation and Land Management? CVA offer hands-on experience.

You can volunteer for as little as one day, or up to five days per week. CVA has an office on Hargreaves Street, next door to the Good Loaf Bakery, and runs programs Monday to Friday—8am to 4pm—and provides free transport to and from all sites.
