BSSC’s Language Centre was full of festive energy at lunchtime today as students came together to celebrate Chinese New Year with a taste of tradition and a lot of fun!
Students and staff enjoyed dumplings, spring rolls and chicken wings, and jumped into classic festival games like the Chopstick Challenge and Ping Pong Toss.
Many also tried Chinese calligraphy, learning to write 吉 (jí) — “luck” and 福 (fú) — “blessing”.
Traditional Chinese costumes were also available for students to try on.
A big thank you to Juncai, Christina and other members of the BSSC team who helped organise such a wonderful event this afternoon.
We wish our school community a wonderful Year of the Horse — may it bring strength, confidence and good fortune for the year ahead.
