Our intrepid cultural exchange students are back on campus and bursting to tell you about their Chinese adventure. Ask them about their boating adventure in the cave system at Mount Tai, the Shuihu theme park, or the Great Wall, and you’re sure to hear some great stories.
They visited Confucius’ home town Qufu, and shared cultural activities such as boomerang painting and cooking classes with their hosts.
A very fast train journey to Beijing saw the group visit the Great Wall, the 2008 Olympic venue a Kung Fu show in a local theatre, the Forbidden City and Tiananmen Square.
Some shopping time in the Silk Market, tea and students were off to the airport for the connecting flight to Shanghai and return to Bendigo.
