Each year, BSSC’s Got Talent continues to surprise and delight with the incredible array of talent performing on the Ulumbarra stage. This year’s line-up featured everything from bands and singer songwriters, to classical violin and dance.
Aaron Mannix to performed Stevie Ray Vaughan’s ‘Pride and Joy’, then Morgan McDermott, Kristian Knight and Tom Forrest gave a gutsy, bluesy rendition of ‘Love Rears Its Ugly Head’.
Alex Barber’s interpretation of ‘Goddess’ was storytelling at its best, while Tara Muscatello brought the house down with her performance of ‘Gold Digger’—just her and a guitar.
Corey Lionis violin playing impressed the judges, and Audrey Vendy and Karina Cherry were firm crowd favourites with ‘Hey there Deliah’
Caitlyn Steer wowed with her own composition, “The Ballad”, as did Charlie Davis-Tope performing his original piece titled ‘The Underground’,
Julia Braszell and Charlie Clark’s dancing and singing act, ‘Big God’, was simply mesmerising.
Last year’s winner, Liv Brereton, capped of an amazing show singing ‘Remedy’.
First place went to Julia and Charlie, second place to Caitlyn, and Tara took out third.
A big thank you to this year’s judges: Duane Anderson, Angie Pollock and Sharon Newth, and to our fabulous Emcee, Max Harris.
