The BSSC Lions travelled to Cheltenham Baseball Club to compete in the School Sport Victoria State Championships on Tuesday 19th May.
After a slow start the team hit their strides and managed to get stronger throughout the day. After a loss in game one, the team forced the pool into a three-way tie to determine the final placings.
Unfortunately the teams percentage wasn’t high enough to win the head to head battle but it didn’t take away from the determination throughout the day.
SSV awarded the BSSC Lions the Spirit of Sport Award which feedback was given from officials that BSSC conducted themselves in a competitive and respectful manner.
A huge thank you to Kara Fox, Jayson & Georgie Strahan for coaching and scoring for the day.
It was great to have Baseball back at BSSC!
