Certificate II Agriculture students from the Coolock Trade Training Centre attended the 2022 Australian Sheep and Wool Show on Friday 15th July.
BSSC’s Siale Pitson and Nyah Brits, along with classmates from Catherine McAuley College, supported the showing of sheep in the competitions, attended the Careers & Technology Hub seminars and talks, viewed the yard dog trials and learned more about stud breeding and the agricultural sector from the many exhibitors involved.
Siale had a great experience showing her shearing skills during the training day and judges’ workshop.
The excitement continued with Bendigo’s VET Agriculture program receiving Reserve Champion Fleece for Ag colleges and schools in the Australian Fleece Competition.
