It was a packed house at the Ulumbarra Theatre this morning when almost 900 Year 11 students attended their first assembly at BSSC. Principal, Dale Pearce, encouraged students to develop good study habits, eat well and get plenty of sleep to ensure they reach their full potential during their two years at the college.
They also heard from their Learning and Engagement Coordinators about the responsibilities of being BSSC students, the college culture, and the many leadership and travel opportunities available.
One of the highlights of the morning was a performance by VET Music student, Nay Ye Thwey Aung who sang his original composition, ‘Harry’s Styles’.
