In 2024, BSSC will have 8 Student Ambassador positions available (4 year 11 students and 4 year 12 students). 90% attendance at weekly/fortnightly meetings and events is required.

Key roles and responsibilities;
• Represent the college and student cohort at events such as; Open days, ANZAC day and Graduation/Award ceremonies, welcoming international program participants, attending college council and local radio station visits.
• Create student ambassador hoodies and wear these around the college and to local events.
• Work closely with the Leading Teacher that oversees the student ambassador program.
• Develop and facilitate communication through Compass/social media.
• Liaise with the wider school community to increase the profile of the college.
• Develop and maintain college events.
• At all times, demonstrate positive and inclusive behaviours.

Selection process:
Written application and an interview.
