Wednesday evening was a big night on the BSSC Arts floor, with students, staff and families gathering for the inaugural Year 11 Visual Arts and Media Exhibition.
Units 1 and 2 Visual Communication Design, Studio Arts, Media, Art General, Art Fashion and Applied Art were all included in the show.
Marcus Patching, Visual Arts Learning and Engagement Coordinator, described the standard of work as “extremely impressive” and welcomed the many students, parents and friends from the BSSC community who attended.
“We look forward to seeing how these students’ work develops over the rest of this year and into Year 12,” he added.
Although the focus of the night was to exhibit the works, a number of students were presented with Highly Commended awards.
Congratulations to everyone who exhibited. There was certainly a great atmosphere at the show.
If you missed the evening, go up to the E2 floor and view the show.
